Camping At The Sod Farm
There is no cost to camp at the sod farm. You are welcome to arrive the night before the launch starts and stay the night after the launch is over. Please see the map above for the site layout. We have to leave access for the landowner, and get cozy with your neighbor on multi-day launches to leave room for everyone. Please pull or back your rig into your spot, as we don't have enough room to have people park parallel to the road. Fire pits are welcome but must be above ground. We will have a main camp fire each night by the registration area for roasting marshmallows. We will have one or more porta-potties on site, but there are no dumpsters so plan to pack your garbage waste out with you.
Generators: Generators must be shut down after sundown and earlier if possible. Please preserve the peace and quiet of our evenings.
Pets: If you have a rocket dog that has been to a launch before and is well-behaved, it is more than welcome. If you have a dog that barks when people or cars go by, or is afraid of the noise, please leave it at home. It's not fair to the dog or the people attending the launch.
